Ice Hotel and Baltic Cruise, 6N / 7D |
ICEHOTEL is situated in the village Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. A hotel built completely of ice and snow. Staying at the ice hotel is an experience modern adventurer.
Inside, the temperature is never colder than -5 degrees to -8 degrees celsius. Unique rooms are decorated with ice art and sculptures. Each ice-bed is provided with a thermal sleeping bag on reindeer skins. There is also an ice chapel to visit. Have a drink at the Absolute Ice Bar, and experience the ice sauna.

Day 1
HELSINKI Arrive in Helsinki. Welcome to Scandinavia. Helsinki! The capital of Finland, is a modern and charming city situated on the Baltic Sea. Private transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Helsinki
Day 2
HELSINKI After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of Helsinki with English speaking guide including Uspenski Cathedral, the Parliament Building, the Olympic Stadius, the Sibelius Monument (photo stop) , the Temppeliaukio, Rock Church, the Senate Square. In the afternoon, you have time to take a boat trip to Suomenlinna on own. The 250-year-old fortress, which has been preserved intact because of its military use, is today part of the world heritage. In 1991 it was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Transfer to Silja Line terminal on your own in later afternoon. Take overnight cruise, one of the most luxurious cruise in Scandinavia. Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet dinner on the ship. After dinner you can dance the night away in the nightclub, and do shopping in the various shops. Accommodation on board in nice 2-berth cabins.
Day 3
STOCKHOLM
Arrive in Stockholm after breakfast. Stockholm is often called the “Beauty on Water” being built on 14 islands. Private transfer from pier to hotel in city. Later go for a sightseeing tour including outside look of the City Hall where the Nobel price banquette takes place, See the Old Town, and make a short stop at Fjällgatan to see the beautiful view of Stockholm. In the afternoon you are invited by a Swedish family for home visit and lunch. Meet local people and see how they live. Overnight in Stockholm
Day 4
STOCKHOLM-KIRUNA
If you have time, Skansen is a good place to visit. It’s the first open-air museum in the world. You can see Swedish culture, tradition, Nordic animals and old houses collected from whole Sweden. Transfer to airport on own. Take Flight to Kiruna in Swedish Lapland in morning. Your driver – Husky dogs welcome you at the airport!! Transfer to the Ice Hotel in Jukkasijarvi. Lunch is served during the tour. Enjoy Welcome drink at the Absolut ICE BAR. Overnight at Ice Hotel, snow room. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.
Day5
KIRUNA
You are awakened in the morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. You can relax with morning Sauna. Around 09:30, go for Reindeer feeding, lunch, lasso throwing by minibus (3H). Free afternoon for city sightseeing or winter activities. There are many other activities available for you to explore, such as wilderness camping, mobile safaris, ice-fishing, snowmobile tour in search for Aurora Borealis or the Northern light. Transfer to station on own. In the evening, take Overnight train from Kiruna to Stockholm, it takes 15 hours and 45 minutes to Stockholm. Enjoy train journey in comfortable cabin with countryside view covered with snow.
Day 6
STOCKHOLM
Light breakfast with tea/ coffee is served before arrival Arrive in Stockholm in morning, private transfer to hotel We suggest to visit Vasa Museum. The Vasa is the world’s only surviving 17th-century ship and one of the foremost tourist sight in the world. See the change of guards by the castle, and take a walk in old town if time allows, there are a lot of unique things to see when visiting the old town in Stockholm. The town was set up during the 1300 century. Most buildings are from the 1700 and 1800 century. The area has Stockholm's biggest ranges of restaurants, tourist shops, studios and museums.

Snowmobile safari to Santa Claus Village
We drive by snowmobiles along the riverbanks and fells to the Santa Claus (3.5H) Village at the Arctic Circle. We meet Santa Claus in his official chamber and have time to send postcards with a special Arctic Circle stamp from his Main Post Office. You can also visit the handicraft and souvenir shops of Santa’s Village. You will also receive a Certificate of Crossing the Arctic Circle as a souvenir. Return back to town by snowmobiles.

The Northern Lights search and walk on snowshoes
In the evening we make our way by car to Arctic Circle Hiking Area, located 20 km North of Rovaniemi. From there we walk to a peaceful location in search of the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights dancing in the sky. At a campfire we will enjoy a hot drink and we will also have the possibility to take a walk on snowshoes. (2.5 hours)

HELSINKI

Day 3
ROVANIEMI
Arrive in Rovaniemi in the morning. Private transfer from station to hotel. Rovaniemi is a home of Santa Claus and it’s situated close to the Arctic Circle. This city offers you lots of adventures winter activities and unique experiences. Transfer to hotel and have breakfast buffet at hotel after arrival. Visit to Santa Claus village by snow mobiles . You receive a Certificate of Crossing the Arctic Circle as a souvenir and take photos with Santa Claus. Return back to town by snowmobiles. In the evening we make our way by car to Arctic Circle Hiking Area, located 20 km North of Rovaniemi to find the Northern Lights. Overnight in Rovaniemi
Day 4
ROVANIEMI-IVALO
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to bus stop on own and take a public bus to Ivalo, it takes about 5 hours. Transfer to Igloo Village on own. After check in, take guided tour in English speaking guide with welcome drink and see 20 Snow Igloos for sleeping and an Ice Gallery, Bar made of Ice. (Snow igloos and ice gallery, bar- depends on snow condition) One night at Igloo Village, Glass Igloo which provide a unique opportunity to sleep under the Lapp sky admiring the northern lights
Day 5
IVALO-HELSINKI
Enjoy morning Sauna, Finland has at least a thousand years of history of Sauna. After breakfast, you go for Husky Safari and try experience Husky ride in the morning. In late afternoon, private transfer to Ivalo Airport by car. You can also take Snowmobile to Airport if you wish! In later afternoon, take flight from Ivalo to Helsinki. Overnight in Helsinki.

HELSINKI
Your home Take flight from Helsinki to your city. Helsinki-India, Airport transfer- free transfer coach by hotel.
