Day 1: |
Frankfurt - Arrival in Frankfurt, private transfer to your hotel. Relax and start exploring the city. |
Day 2: MONDAY | Wuerzburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber - After breakfast drive through the Spessart mountains
to Wuerzburg and explore the city by visiting the baroque Residence, the Juliusspital, the cathedrale and
the city hall. Afternoon: Drive through the Tauber Valley to Rothenburg o.d. Tauber the “medieval jewel of Germany”. |
Day 3: | Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Schillingsfürst, Feuchtwangen, Dinkelsbühl - Explore
Rothenburg o.d. Tauber: town wall, Jacob Church, city hall, Kaethe Wohlfart´s World of Christmas,
Christmas Museum, etc. Afternoon drive to Schillingsfürst and visit the baroque castle of the Princess of
Hohenlohe. Afterwards continue to Feuchtwangen and Dinkelsbühl. |
Day 4: | Wallerstein, Nördlingen, Augsburg - After breakfast drive to Wallerstein the seat of the Princes
of Oettingen-Wallerstein with the famous plague or trinity column, St. Alban´s curch, castle park with the “New Castle”. Drive to Nördlingen, which offers an almost complete medieval townscape. It´s the only
town in Germany where walls & battlements that can be walked all the way round. In the late afternoon
arrival at Augsburg. |
| Day 5: | ||
Augsburg, Augsburg is one of Germanies oldest cities (more than 2000 years). Visit the historic center with its grand Maximilian Strasse and the Renaissance & Baroque facades of the palaces & patrician houses. At 02.00 pm you will join the official city walking tour starting at the tourist information at the city hall. |

| Day 6: | ||
| Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein - Visit the marvellous castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Castle. Neuschwanstein Castle was model for the Cinderella castle by Walt Disney. Enjoy the rest of the day by exploring around. | ||
| Day 7: | ||
Oberammergau, Garmisch-Patenkirchen, Munich- Drive to Oberammergau, where the famous
Passion Plays are taking part and visit the Ettal monastery and continue to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Discover Germanies highest mountain, the Zugspitze. And enjoy the view over the mountains of
Germany, Austria & Italy. In the afternoon take an one hour ride Munich. |

| Day 8: | ||
Munich - Take a guided city tour of Munich and the city’s highlights. In the afternoon time at
leisure to explore individually the Pinakothek art galleries, Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt, Olympic
stadium, Nymphenburg castle and famous Hofbräuhaus beer hall. |
