Day 1: Arrive Auckland
On arrival into Auckland, "The City of Sails" you will be met by our local representative for either a private transfer to your hotel or collection of rental car.
Day 2: Auckland - Bay of Islands (B)
Travel north over Auckland's Harbor Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast to Whangarei before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Day 3: Bay of Islands (B)
Today we have included Fuller's Bay of Islands "Flexi Ticket". This ticket allows you the choice of one of the following tours; the Super cruise, Dolphin Adventures, Hole in the Rock, Cape Brett Cruise of Cape Reinga Wanderer. As an added bonus, this ticket also includes a free return ferry journey to Russell!
Day 4: Bay of Islands - Auckland (B)
At leisure this morning to further explore this beautiful region. Later this afternoon, return to Auckland.
Day 5: Auckland - Rotorua (B)
Travel south via Hamilton, New Zealand's fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato region to the "Thermal City" of Rotorua.
Day 6: Rotorua (B)
Visit Te PuiaThermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this visit Paradise Valley Springs to see trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agro dome for a New Zealand farms how featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. This afternoon is at leisure.
Day 7: Rotorua - Waitoma - Auckland (B)
Travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to Wautoma for a guided tour of the world famous Wautoma Glowworm caves. View the millions of glowworms on the cavern roof before continuing through the fertile Waikato area to Auckland.
Day 8: Depart Auckland (B)
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car.

Morning tour including Victoria Park Market, West haven Marina and the volcanic crater of Mt Eden for views of the city and harbor.
Day 3: Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua (BD)
Travel south through the fertile waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm caves including an under ground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worm son the cavern roof. On completion Continue over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach the "Thermal City" of Rotorua.
Day 4: Rotorua (B)
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Following this visit Paradise Valley Springs to see New Zealand's trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agro dome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and concert.
Day 5: Rotorua - Wellington (B)
Travel south to reach the popular lake resort of Taupo before continuing on the Desert broad, dominated in the background by the three peaks of Ruapehu, Ngarahoe and Tongariro. Continue south through lush farmland before arriving in the 'Capital City' of Wellington.
Day 6: Wellington (B)
At leisure today to enjoy the many activities available. Highly recommended is a visit to Te Papa, New Zealand's national museum.
Day 7: Wellington - Picton - Kaikoura (B)
Journey across Cook Strait, which separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and into the Marlborough Sounds with its sparking clear water and lush forests before arriving in Picton. Ttravel south through the town of Blenheim, before reaching Kaikoura, a town steeped in Maori history and legend.
Day 8: Kaikoura - Christchurch (B)
Leave Kaikoura behind as you turn inland and travel through North Canterbury to reach the 'Garden City' of Christchurch.
Day 9: Christchurch - Mt Cook - Queenstown (B)
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the church of the good shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand's highest mountain, Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the 'Alpine Resort' of Queenstown.
Day 10: Milford Sound (B)
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglington Valley and travel through the Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.
Day 11: Queenstown (B)
An opportunity today to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the price.
Day 12: Queenstown - Glacier Region (B)
Travel along the shores of lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up the west coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and fox Glaciers
Day 13: Glacier Region (B)
A full day at leisure to explore this magnificent glacier region. Optional activities include a scenic flight or guided walk on one of the glaciers. Optional activities not included in the tour price.
Day 14: Glacier Region - Greymouth - Christchurch (B)
Travel north to Greymouth today and board the world famous Tranz Alpine train (seat coach passengers only). Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur's Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps into Christchurch.
Day 15: Departure Day (B)
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car.

Day 5: Te Anau - Invercargill - Stewart Island (B)
Depart Te Anau this morning and travel through the town of Gore to reach Invercargill, New Zealand's southern most city. You will be transferred to Bluff to collect the Stewart Island Ferry. On arrival in Ovan on Stewart Island you will enjoy a guided tour of the island followed by a cruise around Half Moon Bay abroad a semi submersible boat.
Day 6: Stewart Island - Invercargill (B)
Today is at your leisure on Stewart Island until check in for your return flight. There are many optional Wild Life cruises and walks in this untouched natural area that you may wish to take (Optional activities not included). On arrival in Invercargill you will be transferred to your accommodation.
Day 7: Invercargill - Dunedin (B)
Depart Invercargill and head along the Caitlin's coast, past sweeping beaches and towering cliffs to the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of Dunedin.
Day 8: Dunedin - Christchurch (B)
