Day 1 - Welcome to Ireland

Day 2 – The Curragh and Medieval Ireland
Full Irish breakfast. You can drive toward the Heritage Town of Kildare. Down the M7 you’ll go across the Curragh, the green lands where Irish competition horses are trained. You can possibly visit Kildare National Stud and Japanese Gardens, stop for a visit to St. Brigid’s or visiting the new Outlet Kildare Village before continuing to Kilkenny, the best sample of medieval architecture in Ireland. For lunch we would recommend Langton’s. Your trip can continue to Cashel, home of the magnificent St. Patrick’s Rock, and Cahir.

Day 3 – East Cork
After breakfast departure to Cork. Just before approaching the city a stop at the Old Midleton Distillery: guided tours inclusive of tasting are available throughout the year. Cobh is another interesting place, the former Queenstown. It was here the Titanic had its last stop before the fatal journey. Twenty people got on board here in October 1912: 1 first class, 3 second and 17 people in third class. At the Queenstown Story and Heritage Centre there is the best engine for genealogical research for those interested in finding their Irish ancestors. Overnight in Kinsale area and for dinner try one of the restaurants of Irish Gourmet Capital!

Day 4 – West Cork
Full Irish breakfast. A full day to explore West County Cork. The journey starts with the beautiful coastal scenery of Bantry Bay and Glengarriff. Highlights of the area are Bantry House and Gardens and Garinish Island, home of lnacullin Gardens. You can continue down the still unspoiled Ring of Beara, the most southern of the 3 Peninsulas of Southwest. This is part of An Gaeltacht where Gaelic is spoken fluently and as first language but no worries! Anyone speaks English, too! Overnight in Kenmare area.

Day 5 – Killarney National Park and Dingle
After breakfast departure to Killarney via the scenic route over Killarney Lakes and Lady’s View. In Killarney you can take a walk from Ross Castle around the Killarney Estate, visit Muckross House and Torc Waterfall or joining a Jaunting Car Tour we can book for you. Continuation to Dingle, main town of the namesake peninsula. The coloured houses town is overlooking Dingle Bay where cruises are running most of the year to watch Fungie, the Dolphin living here for years by now. Overnight in Dingle area.

Day 6 – Cliffs of Moher and Burren
Full Irish breakfast. You can choose to catch the ferry over Shannon Mouth from Tarbert to Killimer or drive to Limerick (this is the longest way). Then you can continue toward the coast of co. Clare to Doolin and Cliffs of Moher. In Lisdonvarna, home of the Matchmaking Festival, you can visit a salmon smokehouse before continuing across lunar landscapes of Burren region and Galway Bay. We would suggest a stop in Clarinbridge, home of the Oysters Festival for a snack based on Oysters and Guinness before approaching Galway. Overnight in Galway area.

Day 7 – Back to Dublin
Full Irish breakfast. Time at disposal to visit Galway before heading back to Dublin. Nearby Shannonbridge we would suggest a stop in Clonmacnoise, a pre-Christian monastic settlement established by St. Ciaran on the bank of river Shannon. Arrival in Dublin and check-in in reserved hotel in Dublin City or surroundings.

After breakfast return car at the airport and end of Hibernia Tours Services.
