Greece Tour Package

DAY 1 :
Arrival at Athens International airport. Meet and assist by our office representative. Transfer from Athens International by private Mercedes taxi to the Hotel in Athens.Check in at the Hotel. In the room there will be a bottle of Sparkling wine as a welcome and also the bed will be decorated with rose petals .In the evening pick up from the Hotel in order to join the Athens by Night tour
Athens By Night tour with Dinner and Folk Show :
The tour starts with a visit to the main Greek port of Piraeus, passing by the most important points of the city (City Hall, picturesque yacht's harbour of Microlimano etc). Following the principal avenues and passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, National Garden, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament we arrive at Plaka. Short pleasant walk through the old unique Athens city to one of the popular taverns for dinner with live bouzouki music and Greek folk dances.
N.B. Drinks at the tavern are not included in the price.

DAY 2 :
Breakfast. Pick up from the Hotel in order to join the Athens city tour (duration 4 hours).
Athens Sightsfeeing – City Tour:
Depart for TEMPLE OF OLYMPIAN ZEUS (visit). Proceed to PANATHINAIKO STADIUM crad e o the first Olympic Games took place in 1896 (short stop). Pass by the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by colourful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old
Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, ACROPOLIS, (visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion and Museum of the Acropolis Afternoon is at leisure . In the evening and weather permitted we will offer one circle tour by traditional horse carriage around Acropolis.

DAY 3 :
Breakfast. Morning is free at leisure. Late at noon pick up from the Hotel in order to Join the tour to Cape Sounio. Half day Cape Sounio: Depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada,Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) to CAPE SOUNION where you will visit the 5th century B.C. TEMPLE of POSEIDON with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world(on a clear day you can see at least seven islands).The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.

DAY 4 :
Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel in order to join the Argolis one day tour.
One Day Argolis (Epidavros – Mycenae):Depart from our terminal; we are passing by OLYMPIC STADIUM to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main venue. We continue for the CORINTH CANAL (short stop). Drive to MYCENAE and visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon (optional stop for souvenirs). After lunch through ARGOS proceed to Nauplia the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of PALAMIDI and the fortified islet of BOURTZI (short stop). Continue to EPIDAURUS and visit the ancient theatre, world famous for it's outstanding acoustics. Finally, drive along the coastal road of Saronic Gulf to Athens.

DAY 5 :
Breakfast. Departure from Athens in order to join the two days tour to Meteora. 2 Days Meteora: Depart through Thebes, LEVADIA (short stop) and Arachova for DELPHI, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Two hours at leisure or optional visit to the archaeological site and the MUSEUM of Delphi. In the afternoon depart through Central Greece and the cities of LAMIA (short stop), Triakala to KALAMBAKA (a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, and crowded by the METEORA Monasteries). Overnight stay in Kalambaka.

DAY 6 :
Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the BYZANTINE MONASTERIES. Return to Athens passing by the heroic monument of Leonidas in THERMOPYLAE

DAY 7 :
Breakfast. Pick up from the Hotel in order to Join the one day cruise to three islands Aegina Poros Hydra with lunch on boardOne Day Cruise to Aegina – Poros – Hydra: Depart by bus to Piraeus port.Sail for the island of AEGINA(optional visit to the famous Temple of Athena Aphaia).Cruise through the straits to POROS(visit). Lunch on board and then on to HYDRA(time at leisure for shopping or swimming).Sail back to Trocadero Harbour and transfer by bus to Athens. In the evening transfer to a very trendy and romantic restaurant for a candle light dinner.

DAY 8 :
According to flight schedule transfer to the airport for flight back home.
