Day 1: Paris
Arrival at Paris airport. Meet and greet and transfer to
hotel with orientation tour en route, to discover the
highlights of the city : From the Pont Neuf
(Paris ‘ oldest bridge), passing the Palais Royal, the
Champs de Mars and Les Invalides, to arrive at the
Bastille and the Conciergerie (Marie- Antoinette’s
prison). Then, view the modern part of the city from
the Opera square along the elegant Rue de la Paix to
the famous Champs-Elysées. Balance of the day at
leisure. Get acquainted dinner on the River Seine. Return and overnight at
hotel.
Day 2: Paris
To be in Paris and not pay a visit to Mona Lisa would be unfair to this 500 year
old young lady whose mysterious smile has intrigued generation of admirers.
Drive to the Louvre and visit this renowned museum: See masterpieces such as
the Winged Victory of Samothrace and Mona Lisa. Then, continue along the
Avenue Foch and to the Palace of Chaillot. Stop at the
Eiffel Tower and enjoy a panoramic view from the 2nd
floor. Driving back to the hotel, see the military
schooland the imposing Invalides, site of Napoleon’s
tomb. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Paris
Entire day devoted to ART. Morning visit to Marmottan
museum featuring works by impressionists artists such
as : Monet, Sisley, Renoir…See also collections of mrimitive
art and Empire-style paintings and furniture.
Afternoon visit to Orsay museum located in the former
Gare d’Orsay designed by V. Laloux in 1900 for the Universal Exhibition. See paintings, pas
tels, sculptures, furniture and art objects dating
from 1848 to 1914. Evening at leisure. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 4: Paris
Full day excursion to Giverny at the gate of Normandy : Visit the house and
gardens of the great impressionist master, Claude Monet. Visit his studio, the
dining room : the living room and the bedroom with its original furniture.
Cézanne, Rodin, Renoir are among the celebrities who often paid a visit to the
artist. Finally, see the sumptuous garden, its private lake covered with water
lilies and surrounded by a myriad of flowers immortalized in museums all over
the world. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Auvers sur Oise :
Vincent Van Gogh spend the last months of his life at Auvers painting one canvas
each day. H e died in this village and was buried in its small cemetery. Visit
the village, Van Gogh’s grave and the Auberge Ravoux where the painter
stayed. Return to Paris. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Paris
Full day sightseeing of Paris starting by a morning
visit to Montmartre, a quarter of Paris which has
kept its own cultural and artistic identity : Site of
creation, it was frequented by many poets, singers
and painters and its cabarets are worldwide renowned. Short time on own.
Continue the city tour with a visit to the Opera Garnier, being without contest
the best example of the fastuous architecture of the 2nd Empire period.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Paris
Drive south of Paris, through the forest of Fontainebleau to Barbizon, charming
village and famous home of impressionist painters. Visit the Auberge Ganne,
the town museum. Return to Paris. Balance of the day at leisure. Evening
round trip transfer to local restaurant for farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 1: Paris
Arrival at airport. Meet and greet and
transfer to hotel. Evening round trip
transfer to local restaurant for dinner.

Day 2: Paris
Entire day of sightseeing devoted to the
discovery of Paris’ monumental masterpieces
and religious highlights: Visit the
impressive Notre-Dame Cathedral impregnated with the history of Paris since
its construction in 1163. Then, on to the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal to
attend to mass. Continue to Montmartre for a visit to the Sacré-Coeur
Basilica. From the steps of the Montmartre hill, enjoy a panoramic view over
Paris. Evening free. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Paris/Lourdes
Morning transfer to station with assistance. Board TGV train in
2nd class to Lourdes, the premium pilgrimage city. Arrive in the
afternoon. Meet assistance on the platform for transfer to hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Lourdes
In the heart of the Pyrénées, Lourdes receives 5 millions visitors
from all over the world every year. Spirituality is part of the
present through the depth and beauty of the sight, the mark of the past, the
serenity of the sanctuary. Morning walking tour and visit of the Holy sites : The
Massabielle Grotto of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette
Soubirous, the water spring, the taps and the sanctuaries.
In the afternoon attend mass. Balance of the
day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Lourdes
Entire day free. Possibility to attend one of the processions
held from Easter to All Saints day.
Afternoon mass. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Lourdes / Bordeaux
Board luxury motor coach and departure to
Bordeaux, the wine capital of France. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Bordeaux / Vannes
Morning stop in the Médoc area for one hour visit of
the vineyards followed by wine tasting; then, long day drive to Vannes. Dinner
and overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Vannes
Morning guided tour of Vannes, a picturesque and
popular city: Visit the Old Quarter enclosed in ramparts
grouped around Saint-Peter’s Cathedral.
Afternoon drive to Sainte-Anne d’Auray, the outstanding
place of Breton pilgrimage where Pope Jean-Paul II came in 1996. Attend a mass and visit the
Sainte-Anne basilica and diorama showing the origin
of the actual pilgrimage. Return to Vannes. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Vannes / Mont Saint-Michel
Departure to the Mont-Saint-Michel. Stop in Saint-Malo: Time to stroll on the
ramparts of the old city also called the “city of Privateers”. Continue to the
Mont Saint-Michel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Mont Saint Michel / Lisieux
Morning guided visit of the Mont : visit the medieval monastery built on top of
the mound, known as the “jewel of the Occident”. Then, depart for Lisieux via
Pontmain, place of pilgrimage to the Virgin. Attend mass. Continue to Lisieux.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Lisieux
Lisieux is a pilgrimage centre devoted to Sainte-Thérèse who received an early
call of the church. She entered the Order at age 15 and led a solitary life in
the cloisters. She died in 1897 and was canonised in 1925. Attend mass in the
crypt of the Basilica and visit the Carmelite Chapel with a local guide. Free for
the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Lisieux / Paris
Departure to Paris via Rouen : Guided tour of the historic capital of
Normandy. Visit the Cathedral, view the Gros-Horloge, the law courts and
retrace the memory of Joan of Arc at the place of the Vieux Marché (where
she was burnt at the stake). Continue to Paris. Evening round trip transfer to
local restaurant for farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Paris / Lyon
Breakfast at hotel . Guided visit of the Louvre Museum, former residence
of the kings of France and certainly one of the largest and richest

Departure for Lyon. En route, discover the famous vineyards of
Burgundy. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Lyon / Monaco / Nice
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Orange, Aix-en-Provence and the French Riviera. Lunch. In
the afternoon, guided panoramic tour of the Principality of Monaco. Dinner and overnight at
hotel in Nice.
Day 7: Nice / Pisa / Florence
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Italy, en route via Genoa to Pisa,
Galileo’s hometown, the Square of Miracles and the renowned Leaning
Tower. Visit of the Square, the cathedral and the tower. Lunch.
Departure for Florence, the jewel of Italy, city of Dante, Michelangelo,
Leonardo da Vinci. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Florence.
Day 8: Florence / Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour of Florence, the cradle of Renaissance: the square of the
Cathedral, the river Arno, the Ponte Vecchio… Lunch. En route through Tuscany, the Latium
and arrival to Rome. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Rome.
Day 9: Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Guided panoramic tour of the « Christian » Rome: the Square and Basilica

Day 10: Rome / Venice
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for the Emilia-Romagna region, A
region blessed with very fertile land has not only led to the
development of a culture of valuable food & wines, but provided
the basis for expending resources on works of human ingenuity
and art. Lunch en route for Venice. Arrival to the hotel in Venice. Vaporetto tour on the
Grand Canal for a first impression of Venice. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Venice.
Day 11: Venice/Vienna
Breakfast at hotel. Guided panoramic tour of Venice: the Square and Basilica
Saint Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, the Palace of the Doges. Departure for
Udine, lunch en route. Enter Austria and arrival in Vienna. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Vienna
Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour of Vienna, the capital of the
Hapsburgs: the Imperial Hofburg Palace, the National Library
(entrance fee included in package), the Ring, the Opera House, the
Old Quarters… Lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of the Palace of
Schönbrunn, the summer residence of the Hapsburgs (entrance fee

Day 13: Vienna / Salzburg / Munich / Stuttgart
Breakfast at hotel .Departure for Linz and Salzburg. Orientation tour
of Mozart’s birthplace. Lunch. In the afternoon, departure for Munich.
Panoramic guided tour of the capital of Bavaria : the historic quarters,
the visit the former artists' quarter Schwabing and go all along the
impressive Ludwig- and Prinzregentenstreet lined by magnificent buildings
e.g. Theatiner Church, Hall of Generals (Feldherrnhalle), House

Day 14: Stuttgart / Frankfurt / Cologne
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Heidelberg and Frankfurt: discover the Römer, splendid Middle
Ages houses, that are the symbol of Frankfurt. Lunch in Cologne. In the afternoon, guided tour
of Cologne, its extraordinary gothic cathedral, the Roman heritage, the ancient fortifications.

Day 15: Cologne / Amsterdam
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for the Netherlands. Lunch in
Amsterdam. Guided cruise on the famous Amsterdam canals and discovery
of the city built on more than one hundred tiny islands and
featuring over 400 bridges. Free time for shopping and leisure. Dinner

Day 16: Amsterdam / Brussels
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Brussels, the capital of Belgium and Europe. After lunch, guided
tour of the city: the Grand Place, one of the world’s most famous market squares, the city’s
mascot : the Manneken-Pis, the Atomium. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Brussels.
Day 17: Brussels / Paris
