Day 1: Paris / Rouen
Arrival at Paris airport. Meet and greet
and board luxurious motor coach for
departure to Giverny. Visit the home,
studio and sumptuous gardens of Monet,
the master of the impressionist painters.
Continue to Rouen, the historic Capital
of Normandy. Get-acquainted dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Rouen / Caen
Departure to Etretat: Free time to discover
the cliffs, one of France greatest
geological curiosities. Continue to Caen
via Honfleur, a picturesque old fishing village and Deauville renowned seaside and casino
resort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Caen
Full day guided sightseeing beginning with an orientation
tour of Caen : See the Abbaye aux Hommes, the
Abbaye aux Dames, the Ducal castle and the
Renaissance style hotel d’Escoville. Proceed to Bayeux :
Visit to the center housing the famous Tapestry celebrating
and recording for posterity the events of the
Battle of Hastings and the victory of William the
Conqueror. Return to Caen via Cabourg : a charming
seaside resort. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Caen / Saint-Malo
Departure to Saint-Malo with a stop en route in the
Mont Saint-Michel : Guided visit of the Abbey, known as “the jewel of the west”. Continue
to Saint-Malo, the mediaeval city surrounded by ramparts also called the “city of
Privateers”. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Saint-Malo / Tours
Long day drive to Tours via Rennes and Le Mans. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Balance

Day 6: Tours
Full day guided sightseeing: Discover Tours, former Capital of the Kingdom of France, rich
with history and a well preserved heritage. Then, on to Amboise to visit the most Italian of
the Loire Valley châteaux which shelters an impressive collection of Renaissance furniture.
Proceed to Chenonceau : built on the river Cher, where the unique beauty of its architecture
is reflected in the water, the Château de Chenonceau is the Loire Valley’s finial.
Return to Tours. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Tours / Bordeaux
Departure to Bordeaux, the city of wines. Check-in at hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Bordeaux
Morning guide tour of Bordeaux sheltering 3 UNESCO World Heritage
monuments: See the old quarter of Saint-Michel, the Chartrons quarter
(the wine merchants district). Afternoon excursion without guide in the

Mid morning departure to Carcassonne. Enjoy a guided walking tour

Day 11: Carcassonne / Avignon
Drive to Avignon via Nimes and Pont du Gard including
short stops with time for leisure. Balance of time at leisure
in Avignon. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Avignon
Entire day dedicated to the discovery of Provence, a picturesque
region rich in history, culture and traditions: Begin with
an orientation tour of Avignon including a visit to the magnificent Palace of the Popes. On
to Arles, the Roman city and visit to the well preserved arenas. Return to Avignon via les
Baux de Provence, one of the most beautiful villages of France located on top of a rock.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Avignon / Nice
Long drive to Nice, pearl of the French Riviera, via Aix en Provence and Cannes including
short stops. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Nice
Full day guided sightseeing including orientation tour of Nice: Stroll along the famous
Promenade des Anglais and see the picturesque flower market. Continue to the prestigious
principality of Monaco via the mediaeval perched village of Eze. Return to Nice in the late
afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Nice / Lyon
Long day drive to Lyon via Valence. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided orientation tour of Lyon,
the roman city, former Capital of the Three Gauls. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Lyon / Dijon
Departure to Dijon, Capital of Burgundy via Beaune. Guided tour of
Beaune, renowned as the city of the wines of Burgundy : Visit the Hotel
Dieu, eloquent example of Flemish and flamboyant architecture.
Continue to Dijon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Dijon
Morning walking tour of the city : See Philippe Le Bon’s tower, visit the
Ducal Palace housing the Town Hall and the Fine Arts museum reputed
for the uncontested wealth of its collections, and the historical centre
which stretches around the Palace. Balance of the day at leisure. Dinner
and overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Dijon / Reims
Departure to Reims, the city of Kings of France were crowned and capital of the champagne
wine. Stop in Chamery, for a visit of the vineyard by little train followed by a tasting
of the famous wine of Champagne. Return to Reims. Farewell dinner at local restaurant.

Day 19: Reims / Paris
Morning guided orientation tour of Reims including visit of Notre-Dame cathedral: The harmonious
marriage of sculptural decoration with architecture, has made this monument one

Half day sightseeing tour of the city : the Pont Neuf (Paris’ oldest
bridge), the Palais Royal, the Champs de Mars and the Invalides;
Stop for one hour cruise on the River Seine. Continue the tour
through the Bastille and the Conciergerie. Then, view the modern
part of the city from the Square of the Opera along the elegant

Discover the wine capital, a mixture of late
18th century mansions and Roman ruins.
Get-acquainted dinner and overnight at
hotel.
Day 2: Bordeaux
Full day dedicated to the visit of the reputed Bordeaux vineyards: Begin with
the Médoc, which produces an infinite palette of wines thanks to the variety of
terroirs and a priviledged climate. Visit to a wine producer domain followed by
wine tasting. Continue to Saint-Emilion, the “hill of a thousand chateaux” (wine
producers) for a second visit and wine tasting. Return to Bordeaux. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 3: Bordeaux / Carcassonne
Drive to Carcassonne via Toulouse, the Occitan capital
also called “The Pink city”.Visit the Saint Sernin
Basilica, the largest and most splendid Romanesque
church now entirely restored. Continue to
Carcassonne, one of Europe’s best preserved
medieval fortresses. Late afternoon walking tour of “la cité”, the walled part of the city including the
Chateau Comtal. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4:Carcassonne / Avignon
Depart for Provence via the highway. Stop in Nimes for a guided tour of this
roman city boasting an exceptional wealth of monuments: Visit the Arenas,
testimony of the Roman occupation. Continue to Avignon, the city of the
Popes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Avignon
Full day sightseeing through Provence. Begin with Avignon, See of of the Popes
from 1307 to 1377 : Visit the famed Palace of the Popes, a masterpiece of
medieval architecture. Proceed to Arles, originally a Roman capital. Nowhere
in France is the antiquity more present. Continue to Saint-Rémy de Provence,

Day 6: Avignon / Aix en Provence
Drive to Aix en Provence with stop in Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages
in France : Stroll along the narrow cobbled
streets which thread their way through tall
houses built against the rock. Continue to the
Bories village, curious igloo-shaped structures
made of stones. Proceed to Aix en Provence.
Guided city tour upon arrival: View the old
town, the fountains, the elegant mansions. Visit
Cézanne’s studio, kept as it was at the painter’s
death. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Aix en Provence / Nice
Depart for Nice via the Canyon du Verdon with local guide. The sight of this
huge rift valley with vertiginous walls is unique in Europe. Stop in the charming
town of Moustiers Sainte-Marie. Continue to Nice and stop in Saint-Paul de
Vence. Set on a spur behind ramparts which are still more or less intact, this
village has retained much of its medieval appearance. Arrive in Nice in the late
afternoon. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Nice
Full day guided tour of Nice/Eze/Monaco and Sainte-Agnès: Stroll along the
famous Promenade des Anglais in Nice which stretches along the seaside, and
see the picturesque flower market. Proceed to Eze, a fortified mediaeval village
overlooking St Jean Cap Ferrat and the prestigious and famed Principality of
Monaco, also known as thr” Rock, which lies between France and the
Mediterranean sea. Continue to Sainte-Agnès, the highest perched village in
Europe and admire the panoramic view over the Bay of Menton. Return to
Nice. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Nice
Full day guided tour: drive to Les Hauts de Cagnes, medieval site dominating
the city of Cagnes sur Mer: See the ramparts, the Chapel Notre-Dame de la
Protection, the House of the Artists. On to Cannes and Grasse. Discover
Cannes, city of film and arts festivals. Short stop: Take the
opportunity to stroll along the renowned Croisette. On
to Grasse, also knows as the city of perfume: Visit the
Fragonard perfume factory and attend to a course of initiation
to Aromatherapy. Return to Nice. Farewell dinner
and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Paris / Dijon
Drive south to Burgundy to Dijon via Chablis. Stop to visit
a wine cellar and taste this wine made from a unique and
specific vine: the Chardonnay. Continue to Dijon, former
ducal capital and now capital of Burgundy. Walking tour of
the city upon arrival: See Philippe Le Bon’s tower, visit and the historical centre
which stretches around the Ducal Palace Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Dijon
Full day guided excursion dedicated to wine.
Drive to Beaune : Gold and ruby are the characteristic
shimmering colours of the great wines of
Burgundy of which Beaune is the undisputed capital.
Visit the wine market; see the vaulted cellars
stretching out beneath the streets of a town set
like a jewel in the ring of its mediaeval ramparts.
Then, return to Dijon with a stop en route on
the famous wine rroute for a tasting of 4 wines at Château de Gilly. Return to
Dijon. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 4: Dijon/Lyon
Departure to Lyon with a stop en route in Romanèche-Thorins. Visit the
Hameau Du Beaujolais, followed by wine tasting. Continue to Lyon, former
capital of the Three Gauls. Guided tour of the city upon arrival: Drive through
the place Bellecour, the Canuts district and up the hill of Fourvière. Transfer to
hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Lyon
Morning guided excursion to Pérouges, mediaeval village perched on a hill.
Village of craftsmen founded by a Gallic colony returning
from Perogia in Italy. Return to Lyon. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Lyon/Clermont-Ferrand
Mid morning departure to Clermont-Ferrand, a city between the mountains.
Midway between Northen and Southern Europe, the central location of

Day 7: Clermont-Ferrand / Montignac
Departure to the village of Saint-Nectaire, first
roman spa establishment also known for its delicious
cheese. Visit a cheese factory followed by cheese
tasting. Continue to Montignac via Brive la Gaillarde.
Dinner and overnight in a Chateau hotel.
Day 8: Montignac
Morning visit to Lascaux cave showing paintings of
the Paleolithic era. Then, excursion to Sarlat and its
surroundings : Discover Sarlat la Canéda, city of art and history housing an
invaluable architectural heritage. Continue to the picturesque villages of
Beynac et Cazenac, la Roque-Gageac. Return to Montignac. Dinner and

Day 9: Montignac / Bordeaux
Departure to Bordeaux via Bergerac and Monbazillac: Stop to visit the Castle a
unique and original blend of mediaeval defensive fortifications and Renaissance
exuberance; also enjoy tasting the white wine of the Domain of Monbazillac
with Foie Gras toasts. Upon arrival, guided orientation tour of Bordeaux, the
wine city boasting 3 UNESCO world heritage monuments.

Day 10: Bordeaux
Full day dedicated to the visit of one of the reputed Bordeaux
vineyards: the Médoc, which produces an infinite palette of
wines thanks to the variety of terroirs and a priviledged climate.
Visit of a wine producer domain followed by wine tasting. Lunch in a typical
restaurant. After lunch, drive south to Margaux, where the “most feminine”
wines, delicate and fruity, are produced. Return to Bordeaux. Overnight

Day 11: Bordeaux/Paris
Long day drive to Paris via Poitiers. Check-in at hotel and time for rest.
