Day 1: Paris
Arrival at Paris airport. Meet and greet and
transfer to city centre: Enjoy a get-acquainted
tour with the city before being transferred to
hotel. Evening round trip transfer to a typical
French Brasserie for dinner. Return and
overnight at hotel
Day 2 : Paris / Fontevraud l’Abbaye
Departure to Fontevraud via Chartres. Guided visit of the renowned Cathedral,
masterpiece of the Gothic art. Continue to Fontevraud. Check-in at hotel : A
bottle of Saumur white wine is offered upon arrival. Then, guided visit of the
Abbey of Fontevraud, an exceptional site ruled for years by powerful abbesses,
that houses the recumbent polychrome statutes
of Alienor d’Aquitaine, Henri II Plantagenet and
Richard the Lionhearted Dinner and overnight
at hotel.
Day 3 : Fontevraud l’Abbaye
Morning guided tour of Angers, city of art and
history : visit the medieval Castle and see the
famous Tapestry of the Apocalypse. Afternoon guided orientation tour of
Saumur, capital of cavalry: view the prestigious school of horse riding and cavalry,
the château and its XVIIth century private mansions. Return to Fontevraud.

Day 4 : Fontevraud l’Abbaye / Amboise
Departure to Chinon: Guided orientation tour of one of the
favourite residences of King Henri II Plantagenêt. Chinon lies
between two rivers, and produces the well-known Chinon wine
celebrated by Rabelais, one of Chinon’s most famous sons.Continue to Amboise, the most ancient Loire Valley city, with local guide : View Azay-Le-Rideau which is certainly worth a
photo stop, and visit the château of Villandry,
the last of the large châteaux built on the
banks of the Loire river.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Amboise
Full day guided tour dedicated to the visit of the
châteaux of Amboise and Chenonceau. Amboise, the most Italian of the Loire
Valley châteaux, was the last residence of Léonardo da Vinci. The château features
an impressive collection of Gothic and Renaissance furniture. Proceed to
Vouvray for a short visit and wine tasting. Visit the
château of Chenonceau, also called “Château des
Dames”: Built on the river Cher, Chenonceau is the
Loire Valley’s finial with its remarkable architecture and
its collections of fine quality. Drive back to Amboise.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Amboise / Paris
On the way to Paris, stop in Chambord to enjoy
a guided tour of the most majestic château of the
Loire Valley: Chambord is the result of a mathematisation
of architecture dreamed by François
1st and designed by Léonardo da Vinci : a
grandiose creation. Continue to Paris. Rest of
the day free. Evening round trip transfer to local
restaurant for farewell dinner followed by a
cruise on the Seine River, another way to discover
Paris. Return and overnight at hotel.

Day 1: Paris
Arrival at airport. Meet and greet and transfer to hotel. Balance of the day at
leisure. After dinner in a traditional
French restaurant, enjoy an evening
guided get-acquainted tour: Discover
the magic capital and its illuminated
monuments. Return and overnight at
hotel.
Day 2: Paris / Dijon
Board deluxe coach and depart to
Dijon via Vézelay: Stop to visit the
impressive Sainte-Madeleine basilica, masterpiece of Burgundian Romanesque
architecture, from where Richard the Lion-hearted departed for the 3rd crusade.
Continue to Dijon, former ducal capital and now capital of Burgundy.
Walking tour of the city upon arrival
including the visit to the Ducal Palace
housing the Fine arts museum. Check-in
and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Dijon
Full day excursion to Beaune: Gold and
ruby are the characteristic shimmering
colours of the
great wines of
Burgundy of which Beaune is the undisputed capital. Visit
the Hotel Dieu, eloquent example of Flemish and flamboyant
architecture. Then, return to Dijon with a stop en
route on the famous wine road for a visit followed by wine
tasting. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Dijon / Colmar :
Drive to Colmar via Belfort. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided orientation tour of the capital of Alsatian wine, city of arts and
culture which has preserved the integrality of its architectural
heritage. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Colmar / Strasbourg
Departure to Strasbourg with local guide and explore the
wine route: Stop in Kaysersberg, a charming little village,
Riquewihr the most visited Alsatian village reputed for its vineyards,
its beautiful half–timbered houses decorated with flowers in bloom. Visit
to a wine cellar and taste the produce. Proceed to Kintzheim, visit the Château
du Haut-Koenigsbourg a stronghold housing middle-age collections
and furniture. On to Strasbourg. Dinner and overnight at
hotel.
Day 6: Strasbourg
Morning guided tour: Discover Strasbourg, one of the rare
cities where the whole centre is classified as world heritage.
Visit the famous Cathedral; see the Palais Rohan, former residence
of the Bishop Princes. Enjoy a guided cruise on the Ile River. Balance of
the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day 7: Strasbourg / Reims
Departure to Reims, the capital of Champagne
wine, via Nancy. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

Day 8: Reims
Morning guided orientation tour of Reims including a visit of
Notre-Dame cathedral: the harmonious marriage of sculptural
decoration with architecture has made this monument one of
the masterpieces of Gothic art. Then, leave for Chamery, for a
visit of the vineyard by little train followed by wine tasting of the
famous wine of Champagne. Return to Reims. Farewell dinner at
local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Full day guided tour of Nice/Eze/Monaco and Sainte-Agnès: Visit the famous
Promenade des Anglais in Nice which stretches along the seaside, and the picturesque
flower market. Proceed to Eze, a fortified mediaeval village overlooking
St Jean Cap Ferrat and the prestigious and famed Principality of Monaco,
enchanting rock lying between France and the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to
Sainte-Agnès, the highest perched village in Europe and admire the panoramic
view over the Bay of Menton. Return to Nice. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Nice
Full day guided tour of Cannes and Grasse. Discover Cannes, city of film and
art festivals. Short stop to stroll along the renowned Croisette. On to
Grasse, also knows as the city of perfume. Visit Fragonard’s perfume factory
and attend a course of initiation to Perfume making. Return to Nice.

Day 4: Nice
Full day excursion to St Paul de
Vence one of the most splendid village
which inspired so many artists.
Time on own for shopping after
visit. Proceed to Les Hauts de
Cagnes, medieval site dominating the
city of Cagnes sur mer : See the
ramparts, the Chapel Notre-Dame
de la Protection,the House of the Artists. Proceed to Cagnes sur mer for
short time on own. Return to Nice. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Nice
Morning entirely at leisure. Afternoon excursion to Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat,
exceptional site and loveliest places on the Mediterranean coast: The quietness
and warm climate make it a favourite destination amongst European aristocracy
and millionaires: Visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a real architectural
“madness” inspired from the Italian mansions of the Renaissance. Admire
the 7 wonderful gardens. Return to Nice. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Nice
Full day excursion to Saint-Tropez, the jet set sea resort. Stop in Fréjus to
visit the old town and St Raphäel. Continue to Saint-Tropez, visit Ramatuelle,
authentic village renowned for its traditional crafts, shops and catering.
Return to Nice. Evening round trip to a typical Mediterranean restaurant for
farewell dinner. Return and overnight at hotel.
