Day 1 - Wednesday
Arrival at Cairo International
Airport where our representative will
welcome you and transfer you to your
hotel.
Optional : Enjoy a veg/non-veg
Indian dinner.
Overnight at Sheraton Royal Gardens
or similar in Cairo.
Day 2 - Thursday
After your buffet breakfast (8am),
visit Great Pyramids of Giza -
Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos
(one of the Seven Wonders of the
world), and their defending Sphinx.
Visit the Papyrus Institute and see
how the ancient crafts of papyrus
used to be made.
13:00 hrs : Indian lunch. Continue to the Egyptian Museum of
Antiquities, which houses one of the
largest collections of ancient Egyptian
artifacts including the famous
treasures of King Tutankhamen.
Evening (18:45 hrs) : Transfer to the
sleeper train for departure to
Aswan.
Enjoy a veg/non-veg dinner and
breakfast onboard.
Day 3 - Friday As you enjoy your breakfast onboard
the train, we arrive into Aswan.
On
arrival our representative will
meet and assist you and transfer you
onboard the Nile
Cruise Ship for a 3 nights Nile
Cruise - Aswan to Luxor.
Embarkation and some time to
refresh. Enjoy a veg/non-veg lunch
onboard the cruise ship.
Today visit the High Dam, the
pride of Aswan and a structure of the
utmost ingenuity. This is where
Aswan ends and Nubia begins.

Continue by motor boat to visit
Philae Temple, one of the best
preserved Temples and rebuilt stone
by stone on an island.
Optional : Sound & Light
Show in the evening at
Philae Temple.
Enjoy an Indian veg/non-veg Indian
dinner. Overnight onboard your
Nile Cruise ship. (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Saturday
After a buffet breakfast, enjoy a
relaxing felucca ride around the
islands of Aswan. Optional : Abu Simbel Excursion.
13.00 hrs : Enjoy a veg/non-veg
lunch onboard your cruise ship.
15.00 hrs : Sail to Kom Ombo.
18.00 hrs : Arrive into Kom Ombo
and visit Kom Ombo Temple
dedicated to the falcon-headed god
Horus. This temple is unique as it
is actually a fusion of two temples
with two separate gateways and one
of the first chapels.
20.00 hrs : Sail to Edfu.
Enjoy a veg/non-veg Indian dinner.
Overnight onboard your
Nile Cruise Ship. (B, L, D)
Day 5 - Sunday
Early morning, while you enjoy your
buffet breakfast, we sail into Edfu.
Experience the "sailing vendors" as
they pull up in their small boats to sell you goods. 6.30 hrs : On arrival visit Edfu
Temple, one of the best preserved and
completed monuments.
You will have a chance to do this
shore excursion by horse carriage.
8.30 hrs : Proceed to sail to Esna
where you will pass the "Esna Lock"
which adjusts the Nile water level for
your ship to pass onto Luxor.
Enjoy an Indian veg/non-veg dinner.

Day 6 - Monday
After a filling buffet breakfast,
we visit the West Bank of the Nile.
The first stop is the Colossi of
Memnon. These two magnificent
giant statues are all that remains of
the mortuary Temple of
Amenhophis III. Legend has it that
they would "sing at sunrise" because
of the unique weaseling sound caused
by the wind that passed through the
rock structure.
Continue to the Royal Tombs at the
Valley of Kings. This is where
generations of Pharoahs were buried
along with their hidden treasures.
See the tombs, articulate paintings
and sarcophaguses of these great
kings.
Last but not least, proceed for the
Temple of Hatshepsut.
This magnificent tomb belonged to
Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman
Pharoah to have ruled Egypt. This
monument will leave you in awe as it
appears to be engraved into a giant
mountain.
17.30 hrs : Transfer to the sleeper
train for departure back to Cairo.
Enjoy a veg/non-veg dinner and
breakfast onboard and
overnight onboard the train.
Day 7 - Tuesday
As you enjoy your breakfast onboard
the train, we arrive into Cairo.
Today visit the Citadel of "Saladin"
and the Alabaster Mosque.
Continue to the famous Khan El
Khalili Bazaar (largest in the Middle
East & Africa) for a chance to buy
some last minute souvenirs.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 - Wednesday
After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo
International Airport for your
departure back home. |
