The Sunshine Coast is home of the Crocodile Hunter and Australia Zoo, made famous by global documentaries and antics of Steve and Terri Irwin. On the way to Australia Zoo you will view the majestic Glasshouse Mountains bordered by pine forests and pineapple plantations. On this tour you will have time to really experience the best of Australia Zoo, this ever expanding and changing wildlife "Theme Park" is too good to rush. Spend almost 5 hours taking in the many shows and demonstrations including crocodile feeding and snake handling. The handlers walk the animals through the park throughout the day so you will have the opportunity to get 'up close and personal' with a few of the locals!

Visit beautiful Fraser Island, recognised the world over for its stunning sand and rainforest scenery.

En route to Fraser Island you pass the Glasshouse Mountains and the old mining town of Gympie. Your guide will point out many fascinating aspects of this unique region and explain the rich aboriginal history and culture. Once on Fraser Island you may see the wild dingoes that have made this island wilderness their home. Stroll along the palm and fern studded banks of Wangoolba Creek, the most outstanding rainforest area on Fraser Island. Visit the incredible freshwater lakes. Return to the southern end of the island via the inland road past evidence of the old sand mines. This controversial industry ceased as Fraser Island became recognised for its world heritage importance. Board the ferry back to the mainland and reboard your coach for a relaxing drive back to the gold coast with a stop for dinner (at your own expense) on the way.

A great opportunity to walk in the rainforest at night and see the worms glowing in the dark.

Join the ultimate night of adventure in the Australian bushland. You will be picked up at your hotel, and taken to a local restaurant for dinner. Then, on to enjoy an evening nature walk with an experienced tour guide who will show you the wonders of the Australian rainforest at night. Take a look at the city lights of Surfers paradise and do some star gazing (weather permitting) before arriving at the Natural Bridge National Park for an evening rainforest walk and the chance to see the glow worms. Enjoy light refreshments of Lamington's and tea or coffee in the forest after viewing the glow worms before departing back to your hotel.
