ASWAN
Renowned as an oasis on the Nile, Aswan is the gateway to Nubia and an excellent base from where to explore ancient temples and granite quarries, and spectacular sites such as and the famous.     LUXOR
    Located in the heart of Egypt on the east and west banks of the Nile is the ancient city of Luxor. Here is where some of the greatest archaeological finds in history were made, including the Tomb of King Tutankhamen, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. The famous Temples of Karnak and Luxor are a sight to behold with their massive Pillars, Obelisks and Avenues of Sphinxes.

    SINAI
    Sinai is bounded on the east by the Gulf of Aqaba and on the west by the Gulf of Suez, which is linked to the Mediterranean Sea by the Suez Canal; the Negev desert is to the northeast. Level and sandy in the north, Sinai rises to the south in granitic ridges; Mt. Catherine is the highest peak., or Sharm ash Shaykh, a strategic promontory overlooking the Strait of Tiran, is near the southern tip of Sinai.

    Sinai has a hot and dry climate and is sparsely vegetated. Jabal Musa or Mt. Sinai, is said to be the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. On Jabal Musa is the famed Greek Orthodox monastery of St. Catherine; in 1844 the Codex Sinaiticus, one of the oldest manuscripts of the New Testament, was found there.

    Desert safari on a quad-bike and water sports in the Red Sea make Sinai very famous among travellers.
